2. Raw is Better
For some foods, raw is better, but not everything benefits from being served cold. In some cases, you need to heat foods to make them palatable or even edible; in others, the food is just healthier when cooked. Tomatoes, for example, provide more lycopene, a powerful antioxidant, when they are cooked; other foods, like asparagus, are simply easier to eat when they are steamed or roasted; raw isn’t always better.
